# The platform is showing an error, or looks down

## What to try first, and what to send us if it persists.

Try these first, they resolve a good share of platform errors.

Clear your browser cache and cookies, then sign in again. Try a different browser. Try a different device, or your phone on mobile data rather than wifi. Disable browser extensions, particularly ad or script blockers.

If none of that helps, the platform itself may be temporarily down rather than something on your end. This doesn't happen often, but it does happen occasionally, and there's nothing to troubleshoot on your side when it does. Just check back shortly, or contact us at support@coactive.com and we'll confirm.

If it persists, tell us the exact error message word for word or a screenshot, the page or resource you were trying to reach with the URL if you have it, when it started and whether it's every time or intermittent, and your browser and device. That set of details is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

If you're blocked from something time-sensitive, like materials for a course starting soon, let us know and we'll prioritise it.
