Turning off or reducing notification emails

If you're getting more email from the Learning Platform than you'd like, you can adjust it yourself in a couple of clicks.

Go to get.coactive.com and sign in. Click your profile icon in the top right, then Preferences. On the Preferences page, click Notification preferences.

You'll see a full list of notification types (assignments, quizzes, forum posts, grades, and others), each with a Web toggle and an Email toggle. Turn off the ones you don't want, individually, and leave on the ones you do.

If you want everything off in one go, tick Disable notifications at the top of the page instead of switching each one off by hand.

A few entries show "Locked on" or "Locked off" instead of a toggle. Those are set at the platform level and can't be changed from your account.

If you've turned off what you can see here and email is still arriving, tell us which notifications are still coming through and we'll look at where they're being sent from, since not everything comes from the same place.
